How To Clean A Bathroom The Right Way

Although it is important to clean the bathroom every day, there are occasions when you need to scrub more thoroughly. Consider all the bacteria living in this area of your home. Many germs are lurking in your bathroom, from daily toilet use to touching the tap with dirty hands to the everyday use of the water supply. All the gunk and filth cannot be removed by simply sweeping or dusting. It is important to clean your bathroom regularly.

Here's how to completely clean a bathroom.

Do a thorough cleaning. You must first do a routine cleaning before you can disinfect the bathroom. Use warm soapy water to scrub the surfaces (toilets, counters and sinks, handles and faucets, etc.). Rinse thoroughly. This will remove any dirt or debris from the foundation.

Wash the towels. You can wash the towels in the "sanitize” cycle of your washing machine. This will get rid of all germs. You can also wash them in hot water.

The shower curtain and liners should be washed. You can prevent soap scum, mold, and mildew buildup on the shower curtain and liner by washing them in regular detergent. To help remove debris, you can add some towels.

Get supplies. You will need to disinfect the sink, shower, and floors. You can use either a store-bought or homemade sanitizer to disinfect your bathroom. You can mix a quarter of a quart of water with one teaspoon of bleach in a spray-bot. You will also need a toilet bowl brush and a mop.

All surfaces should be sprayed with disinfectant. Next, spray all surfaces with disinfectant. When handling bleach or disinfectant, gloves are recommended.

Let surfaces air-dry. Let surfaces dry completely after spraying the cleaning agent. If you are using bleach, ventilate the room.

Clean the toilet. Let the toilet cleaner sit in the bowl for 5-10 minutes. To thoroughly scrub all traces, use the toilet bowl brush and flush.

Clean the sink. Baking soda and vinegar can be used to clean the pipes. Then, pour near-boiling water down the drain.

You can disinfect the shower once or twice per month by mixing 1/3 cup baking soda and 1 cup white vinegar in a small bag. Wrap it around your shower head with a rubber band. It's best to leave it for at least one night, and then rinse the shower head to get rid of any bacteria.

Clean the floors. Finally, let the floor air dry completely after you have used the disinfectant solution.

It can be difficult to clean a bathroom. However, you can make it easier by following the tips and doing it regularly.
